MARIAN PROVINCE-INDIA
On 10th December 2016, the whole Province rejoiced of the first profession of the novices Kiren TUDU and Sunita BASKY and of the perpetual profession of the junior Sisters Lalita TUDU, Phulkeria BARJO and Teresa HANSDAK’. Before a good number of priests, religious, parents and friends, they joyfully committed themselves to serve God and his people, by the three evangelical counsels.
All were united with them to praise God and sing the Magnificat for their fidelity and their courage to go ahead in the Congregation of the Sisters of Providence of Gap. Sister Eliana Martins Rosa, Superior General, in visit to the Province, has received the vows.
The melodious choir has added beauty to the solemn Eucharist. Yes, we all lived a beautiful day of joy and of thanksgiving with our 5 Sisters who gave themselves to God to announce the Gospel to the most disadvantaged.
May God be glorified for the vocations that the Congregation has still in different countries like India, Benin, Mexico and Brazil. May the charism of John Martin Moye be always known and lived by many, if it is God’s plan; and may the whole family of Providence continue to live this charism with great zeal, being ‘providence’ for others.
